Job summary:
Our Financial Advisor group is comprised of certified professionals who advise prospective and current clients about debt management, cash management, investments and insurance.  As a Financial Advisor, you will assess the client’s current financial health to provide strategic advice; becoming a planning partner and educator to the client on such topics as budgeting and saving, insurance and tax matters, and investment options. 

Summary of essential job functions:
•    Execute the vision of the company by assessing client needs and preparing financial advice in accordance with company investment policies.
•    Assesses client’s overall financial picture; understand their needs to devise an appropriate financial plan that fits the client’s risk profile.
•    Sales:  successfully move prospective client’s assets to the firm.

A Case Paraplanner works under the direction of a Financial Advisor. The CP performs several of the necessary tasks in developing a financial plan for a customer. First, they gather financial reports and records from the client.   Next, the CP reviews and analyzes the client's financial records and starts creating the plan based on different possible financial scenarios as directed by the Financial Advisor. In the process of creating these scenarios, the CP determines how assets should be allocated and ultimately uses this information to the financial plan.

Summary of essential job functions:

•    Research financial databases and products that match clients' needs.

Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is looking to hire an enterprising individual to timely and reliably provide advanced analytical support to a team of real estate capital markets and leasing professionals in South Florida.  The position requires independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize responsibilities in order to meet multiple deadlines, while interacting with a diverse group of colleagues, clients, and service providers. 

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Perform financial analyses with minimal supervision, including cash flow projections, valuation models, and sensitivity analyses.

·         Prepare proposals, broker opinion of values reports and offering materials for both existing assignments and pursuits, utilizing effective work planning capabilities.

·         Research and evaluate real estate market, economic, and demographic data for input into project specific deliverables.

·         Prepare market analysis reports, including vacancy, absorption, and comparable rents and sales.

·         Assist with preparation of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits.  Including use of graphics and mapping type software.

·         Gather and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input into project specific deliverables.

·         Review and analyze property leases and other legal documents.

·         Answer investor/buyer underwriting questions.

·         Create and maintain financial models in ARGUS and Microsoft Excel.

·         Perform related duties when requested.

 

Qualifications

·         High ethical standards.

Tax Manager

TAX MANAGER/SENIOR TAX MANAGER

 

Reports to:           Principal or Partner

Classification:       Full-time; Exempt

Office Location:

Supervises:           Specified Supervisors, and all Tax Associates

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Managers are essentially involved in almost all areas for which principals are responsible.  They exhibit technical proficiency and the ability to supervise and complete engagements, possess a thorough knowledge of the Firm’s policies and procedures, and serve as intermediaries between partners, principals, clients and associates.  Senior Managers exhibit the same positive characteristics as managers, but have more experience and/or years of service.

  

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

         Manages, directs and monitors multiple client service teams on client engagements

         Plans, executes, directs, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries

         Interacts closely with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise

         Provides primary and secondary review of complicated or complex tax returns

         Performs technical tax review and approval of assigned tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity

         Prepares specific client billing

         Assumes full responsibility for larger tax returns and delegates to various tax preparers as deemed necessary

         Manages tax research projects to achieve an accurate and efficient product

         Acts as a resource for tax preparers and audit associates on specific tax issues and/or questions

         Assumes tax preparation responsibility for the more complex business returns

         Assumes client service responsibility for assigned clients or for clients where the responsibility has been delegated from a partner

         Works closely with partners and associates on client management

         Plans the timing and assignment of staff to engagements coordinated with Human Resources

         Delegates and manages governmental tax examinations; may represent clients before taxing authorities

         Maintains familiarity with qualifications of all tax associates under his/her supervision

         Reviews work of associates under his/her supervision to ensure that a quality “product” is consistently delivered within established deadlines

         Supervises tax associates and provides on-the-job training

         Increased involvement in the Firm’s community and marketing activities.

         Actively markets and cross-sells the various services provided by the Firm

         Works to develop responsible, trained staff by assisting in recruiting, performance evaluations, developing training aids, and acting as an instructor in professional service programs (i.e., CPE)

         Assumes responsibility for smooth flow of tax returns through the tax preparation system to assure accurate, complete and timely preparation and delivery of all clients’ tax returns


 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

         Prepares other reports and projects as requested from time to time by the partners

         Participates in the Firm’s practice development efforts through involvement with referral sources, community and industry activities

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

         Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field preferred

         Active Certified Public Accountant licensure

         Minimum of eight years (Manager) or ten years (Senior Manager) experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in complexity and scope of positions and engagements

         Minimum of three years supervising and managing personnel

         Considerable knowledge of and experience in the professional service industry
